Payment Policy
Additionally, please take the necessary time to thoroughly read through the below terms and conditions. Once you have done so, it is required that you accept these terms and conditions before you can continue.
1. Membership covers one month of training and is non-refundable.
2. Club will charge you an extra €10 fine for late payments. This charge will be added for every week of the late payment.
3. Recurring Memberships & Subscriptions: Please note that all club memberships & subscriptions are recurring payments. Payments will re-occur each month unless you have requested cancellation to the club with sufficient notice.
Cancellation Policy
By signing up for a membership / subscription plan with Celtic Eagles Boxing Club Galway (the “Membership / Subscription”) I hereby acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions with regard to the cancellation of such Membership / Subscription.
1. Except as otherwise stated in point 6 below, all requests for cancellation of Membership / Subscription require 14 days’ notice in advance of your next billing cycle (the “Notice Period”).
2. If unsure of billing cycle dates, details of a club member’s Membership / Subscription are available and visible on the Celtic Eagles Boxing Club Galway mobile application (the “Application”). Each club member is able to check the next payment date on their individual profile within the Application. Alternatively, where the club member is unable to log into the Application, they may contact Celtic Eagles Boxing Club Galway via email at celticeaglesboxingclub@gmail.com to confirm the next payment date.
3. Provision of any notice of cancellation of Membership / Subscription can only be performed by the club member themselves and must be done via an email to Celtic Eagles Boxing Club management at celticeaglesboxingclub@gmail.com. Membership / Subscription may not be cancelled on the club member’s behalf by a third party or by a person who is not the club member and owner of the account and subscription at Celtic Eagles Boxing Club Galway, except in the case of bereavement or incapacity of the club member.
4. Failure to provide the requisite Notice Period in the manner outlined above will result in you being charged for the next billing cycle before action is taken.
5. When you cancel a Membership / Subscription, you will still be able to use your Membership / Subscription for the duration of the Notice Period and billing cycle which you have last paid for (together, the “Usage Period”). Once the Usage Period has lapsed, your
Membership / Subscription will be formally cancelled.
6. Cancellation of a Membership / Subscription on short notice within a period less than the Notice Period defined above in point 1 is only possible if the club member covers the associated administrative costs in the amount of €10.00 payable to Celtic Eagles Boxing Club. In such case, the Membership / Subscription will be cancelled immediately without necessitating provision of the Notice Period.
7. From time to time, Celtic Eagles Boxing Club Galway may offer specialised / dedicated training courses to customers on a specific date(s) or over a fixed period of time (the “Courses”). A customer must be a club member and have an active Membership / Subscription in order to part-take in Courses.
In certain cases, Celtic Eagles Boxing Club Galway may offer “early-bird” pricing / special pricing offers in respect of such Courses. In such cases, where for whatever reason, a customer has availed of such offer in respect of a Course (the “Early-Bird Customer”) and wishes to cancel their participation on the specific Course, they will be placed on the next available Course thereafter (the “Subsequent Course”). During such time, they may continue to use their Membership / Subscription within Celtic Eagles Boxing Club Galway and attend day-to-day classes, which have been duly paid for and which are unrelated to the Course. Any request by an Early-Bird Customer to cancel their active Membership / Subscription in line with points 1 – 6 above during such intervening period in advance of the Subsequent Course will mean they will lose their entitlement / place on the Subsequent Course. For customers who have signed-up for participation on a Course but who are not an Early-Bird Customer, and where for whatever reason wish to cancel their participation on the specific Course, they may do so in advance of the course commencement date in line with the short notice provisions at point 6 above for a full refund minus the €10.00 associated administrative costs, or alternatively may choose to avail of a place on a Subsequent Course provided their Membership / Subscription remains active and has not otherwise been cancelled.
Withdrawal
Regulation 13(2)(o) of S.I. No. 484/2013 European Union (Consumer Information, Cancellation and Other Rights) Regulations 2013, as may be amended from time to time, establishes as an exception to the right for withdrawal provided for in Regulation 14 in respect of contracts for services related to leisure activities where the contract provides for a specific date or period of performance.
The terms of this Cancellation Policy do not affect your statutory rights.
